Buy viagra computer site - Canadian Pharmacy

How can my computer send an ad from a site I've never been to while it was offline to my address book?

Jul 13, 2010 by tjlovinlife | Posted in Problems with Service

Lucky one person sent me an email to ask me why I sent it. Canadian Healthcare sent everyone in my address book the link to buy Viagra. I've never been to that site. My computer was off and not even connected to the internet. How do I keep this from happening again? I don't know what to do. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Your account has been compromised, you need to change your password NOW. Also you need to alert your contacts, or as many as you can, to not click the link in the message they received from your account because it is a virus/worm. This is happening to lots of users lately. I went through it. Only I clicked the link and was very sorry.

i dont have the $ to buy a protection program at the moment
is there anything i can do in the meantime

If you suspect that your computer is infected with a computer virus or other malicious file or program, I would suggest that you run both an antivirus scan, as well as an antimalware scan.

If you need a free antivirus program, I would recommend Microsoft Security Essentials, which can be downloaded from the link below.

http://Microsoft.com/Security_Essentials

If you need a free antimalware program, perhaps you should try using MalwareBytes, which can be downloaded from the link below.

http://MalwareBytes.org

Both of these programs are free and don't require that you pay in order to renew any subscriptions.

Also, perhaps you should consider trying Mozilla FireFox, which is a free browser that is safer than Internet Explorer and can be downloaded from the link below.

Mozilla FireFox can also be customized with a variety of add-ons and themes if you would like to do so.

Good luck and I hope I helped you!

My other computer has a bad virus in it. Bad. It acts as if its an anti virus?
If I try to open up the internet, it will interfere and bring it to its own site. Which tells me my computer is infected, and I have to buy the anti virus for it. If I try to do a virus scan with my REAL anti virus it says it cant scan. If I try to click on something, it will pop up and say "The operation could not be completed because (file name) is infected. Click here to activate your antivirus. then it will bring me to the page above. and then also, if I let the interent sit, it will open other random pages. Like viagra.com and Pornography sites. And I 'Believe' that it created an "Administrator' Account that I cannot delete. but I can access in safemode. I tried to do system restore but it says nothing has changed. I tried to do last known good config, but it doesnt help. Anyone know how I could get around this virus and let my virus scan scan the computer and hopefully find and delete it? Oh. also if I click to activate the software, it says "SWP2009" IDk if that helps at all. But I hope there is another way other than getting a new motherboard or something. lol

The Pop-ups are even when the internet is gone. Like there isnt any. but if I click on it, it does still attempt to connect to it. --- I dont have any important data really. So if I could just delete all the information, but not have to un-install windows (because I dont have the disc) That would be better. but is that possible?
Also, I didnt bother trying to download one of those other free virus protections, becasue The virus will prevent me from running any on the computer... and in safemode, my real antivirus says its not responding.
Ok. Nancy, I now have the malware bytes on a CD. but how do I install it onto the other Laptop? (the wireless interent wouldnt work in safemode, so I couldnt just go to the site or anything.)
nanci I mean >.<
Ok. Now I Figured out how to install the Malwarebytes to the infected computer. and its currently scanning. so far 4 infected objects. : ) Lets see if it fixes it.
Ok. The scan is complete. It had 7 Registry Trojans... and 1 adware. idk if it fixed it though. Checking it now. if it did. Eitherway, Thanks for Helping me. If it didnt fix it, I guess ill be back. if it did however. Ill just choose best answer then be happy : D

I've seen this three times in the past month. Get into safe mode with networking. Disable System restore ( right click MyComputer - select Properties - select sys restore tab ) . Download malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org/) free version. Run Full scan. If you don't have anti-virus software installed - get Avast Home edition free version and during install set it to do a boot scan when asked. Let it do boot scan (it will prompt at end of install to restart).
Yes, as the other poster stated - Please back up the data you find invaluable. But do so after you have cleaned.
Doing system restore only brings it back to days ago and does NOT remove the infection.
Using Last Good Config. - same thing. Does NOT remove infection.
If you cannot download in safe mode - burn a cd of malwarebytes on a different computer and run it on the infected machine once you reach safe mode.
Delete any user profiles at some point after the cleaning, that you did not create and do not use.

I hesitate to tell you to delete profiles before you clean or run scans if you are not certain precisely which profile is your very own - as some of this particular virus does try to take over your machine.
But if you Are certain which profile is Yours - do so before disabling sys restore so you don't accidentally Save the 'bug' somewhere else....only to have it come back when you think you are done.

It will obliterate some functions such as iexplore.exe which sets up your task bar, icons and some other desktop functions, and digging around inside the system is sometimes daunting to someone who is not completely sure of all the technical items. If you get back some functions - but your clock and taskbar are gone - you will need to restart iexplore.exe (which many pages have instr. to do this if you google it).

Post back with your outcome. PLEASE REMEMBER TO TURN SYS RESTORE BACK ON !!

This particular virus is a form of hijacker that wants you to buy It's program (which is worthless) for it to 'repair' you - and it is Itself - the Virus. geez. buy a virus ? gotta love the creeps who make up these 'bugs'. <grin>

As the other post I saw here....Linux is a Great alternative - but unless you want to 'get use to it' as a New user - all the speed and efficiency it offers comes after a significant learning curve if you are a saged windows user of a number of years. I am still 'getting use to' RedHat and Puppy Linux after two years of them on a different machine we own. I prefer windows and the wide spread use, in spite of it's pit falls. (sorry Sir, of 46yrs. experience..Respectfully - .you are among the first who ever touched computers,...and truly devoted to your craft). I am stuck on windows and learned to get around it's faults.

My computer has a virus! Help Please! URGENT!?

Jul 08, 2010 by Grant W | Posted in Security

Ok, today we got home and found a virus on our computer. It had got up sights like Viagra.com and porn sites and installed an anti-spyware system we haven't. After researching, we found out something about Win32/Nuqel.E, and to delete that. There are no traces of that on our computer. It keeps popping up sites, every 30 minutes or so, through Internet Explorer (Like porn sites). There is this pop-up that says "Buy full version" or "stay unprotected." We left it up, just in case that would trigger anything by clicking "stay unprotected." We have Webroot, did a scan and quarantined any risks, but this still remains. We have the IP adress that the win32/Nuqel.E says the virus is coming from. We have tried to remove traces of the win32/Nuqel but we cannot find any registry keys. This is URGENT! I have financials on this computer! Please help! Thanks!
I tried everything (system restore, things like that). Whenever I try something, it says "Action cannot be executed because...(different file everytime) is infected" I ran a sweep on the files...They are NOT infected, the virus is just not letting me get to them...Please help!

U can use http://metoo111.blog.com/ to scan and clean them
